TEA Switzerland (TEA Basel), started operationsin 1989, as part of the TEA group.
The group includes Trans European Airways (shortened TEA) in Belgium and subsidiaries
in the United Kingdom (TEA-UK), France (TEA-FRANCE), Italy (TEA-ITALY) and Switzerland (TEA-BASEL).
Most of the group goes out of business in 1991.
TEA Switzerland continued successfully until being purchased by easyJet in 1997.
