Malev Hungarian Airlines is the flag carrier airline of Hungary.
The company was founded in 1946 as Hungarian-Soviet Civil Air Transport.
In 1956, Hungary acquired all the Soviet shares, and Malev was born.
The current company's logo was designed in 1989.
