Lauda Air, started operations in 1985, is an airline based in Schwechat, Austria.
It became a wholly owned subsidiary of Austrian airlines in December 2000.
Today (2011) the airline is a member of the Austrian Airlines Group (the group owned by Lufthansa consists of Austrian airline, Lauda Air and Tyrolean Airways)
