Jat Airways is the national airline of Serbia and the former national carrier of Yugoslavia.
The company was founded in 1927 as Aeroput.
In 1947, the name was changed to JAT - Jugoslovenski aerotransport, then to JAT Yugoslav Airlines and finally in 2003 to Jat Airways.
