Japan Air System (JAS) was the smallest of the big three Japanese airlines (JAL, ANAANA and JAS).
Originally formed as TDA (Toa Domestic Airlines) in 1971 and became Japan Air System or JAS in 1988.
In 2001 JAS agreed to merge with JAL and initiated the process of the JAS brand dismantlement.
